Robyn Agoston

I'm an AI & Future of Work Strategist, Consultant, Speaker and Coach.

I work at the intersection of people and technology, helping individuals, leaders and organisations design work for the AI era. With over two decades of experience guiding organisations through major transformations across continents and industries, and supporting individuals through significant change, I design work around what makes your people uniquely human, ensuring technology amplifies their potential rather than replacing it.

My Story

For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with work, people and technology.  From studying Labour Relations and Global Development in university to spending my early career tackling real-world challenges like rural-to-urban migration in India and youth employment in Ghana and Namibia, these initial experiences showed me something powerful: when you blend human connection with the right technology and learning opportunities, you can transform not just individual lives, but entire communities.

My passion then led me to the business world. At KPMG UK, I spent nine years as a Management Consultant in People and Change and served as the UK Change Management Practice Lead. I learned that even the most brilliant technical solution falls flat if you don't bring people along for the ride. After taking a year to reset, personal growth and adventure, I moved to Basel, Switzerland, and jumped into the world of Digital, Data and AI at Novartis. For almost 6 years, I became an AI / tech-human translator, figuring out how to make technology truly work for business, their people and their customers.

During my time at Novartis, I led digital transformation across multiple roles: from building new digital products to reshaping their $2B technology organisation for AI to leading the people side all things Data, Digital and AI. I designed new digital teams for an AI-first future and successfully merged the Digital and IT functions, always focusing on the partnership between humans and technology.

I also have a uniquely global perspective from living in seven countries, holding three citizenships, and over 20 years working across Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America.  This international experience has taught me that while change might look different in every culture, the human elements stay surprisingly consistent.

My approach? It's a bit of a mix as I am a true multi-passionate generalist while being an expert in Organisation Effectiveness and the human side of Digital and Technology implementation. I bring a unique blend of skills as a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), Professional Scrum Master, and Certified Co-Active Professional Coach. My 'real world' qualifications as a Yoga Teacher, BASI Ski Instructor, and UK Mountain Leader inform my leadership approach. I get my inspiration and creativity from the outdoors, and there's nothing like guiding people through challenging terrain to teach you about leadership and taking things one step at a time.

When I'm not helping teams navigate digital transformation, you'll find me in the on a mountain and occastionally by the sea.  I often say humans have two competitive advantages over AI: the ability to connect to the physical world and with each other.  I've discovered that some of the best insights come when you step away from screens and into nature.
